In Rome’s green district of Prati, the 4-star facility of Hotel Giulio Cesare enjoys a strategic location near the subway station Lepanto and the main city attractions.

From the hotel, you can walk for a few minutes to Vatican City to admire the priceless art works preserved in its museums famous throughout the world and masterpieces such as the cupola of Saint Peter’s Basilica and the Sistine Chapel, created by the genius of Michelangelo.

Crossing the Tiber, you’ll be overwhelmed by the beauty of Piazza del Popolo, a worthy prelude to the park of Villa Borghese, an immense green space that is the ideal spot for a bit of relaxation, and an enjoyable visit to the Galleria Borghese.

Don’t miss visiting the magnificent Piazza Navona, with its fountains and the Church of St. Agnes, and Via dei Coronari, one of central Rome’s historic streets.

If, on the other hand, you are curious to experience la dolce vita on Via Veneto, you can reach it by taking the subway and then walk your way down to the Spanish steps, a magically evocative place that will fail your dreams.

Right in front of the square, Via dei Condotti is the city’s brand shopping venue, filled with high fashion boutiques and the ateliers of Italy’s most famous designers.

When you need a break, don’t hesitate to walk into the Antico Caffè Greco, one of Rome’s historical clubs, a meeting point for writers and intellectuals, now as then.

Staying at Hotel Giulio Cesare will allow our business customers to walk to the main ministries and government offices, the Civil Court, the Supreme Court, the Appeals court, and the headquarters of Rai TV.

Prati District

Built in the early ‘1900s, the Prati district owes its name to the green expanses that once surrounded Castel Sant’Angelo, used until the late 19th century as a military training field. All the streets throughout the district are named after empire-era and renaissance heroes. Today, the quarter is known as one of the most beautiful areas of Rome, featuring Liberty-style villas and elegant Umbertine-style palaces surrounded by patches of green.
